Jun 14, 2003 Muddy chocolate Brown w/ small but thick, creamy head. Not a lot on the nose, perhaps some nuts and chocolate. Body is on the thin side. Seems to a lot wanting to go in the flavour (toasted nuts, chocolate, coffee, a touch of hops) but ultimately it falls short. Also was mildly astringent.

Oct 12, 2002 Mild chocolate aroma, dark brown, hint of red, with a cappuccino head. Coffee and milk chocolate flavour, with roasted malts. Yum! A touch of bitterness, rich and creamy smooth. A very good Ale, even with Nitrogen.
