Dark, dark amber. Mice beige frothy head. No distingishable aroma. Roasted bitter flavour. Like a watered down stout. Sweet and burt flavours. Okay. Favourit from C'est What so far

August 2000 - brown ale, Very roasty, almost a coffee (?) like quality to it. Not something I would order on a regular basis.

Muddy chocolate Brown w/ small but thick, creamy head. Not a lot on the nose, perhaps some nuts and chocolate. Body is on the thin side. Seems to a lot wanting to go in the flavour (toasted nuts, chocolate, coffee, a touch of hops) but ultimately it falls short. Also was mildly astringent.

Mild chocolate aroma, dark brown, hint of red, with a cappuccino head. Coffee and milk chocolate flavour, with roasted malts. Yum! A touch of bitterness, rich and creamy smooth. A very good Ale, even with Nitrogen.

I really enjoyed this mild ale. The colour impressed me the most and the deep malty flavour.
