mabel (1633), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 20, 2006 Updated: Jan 5, 2008[040-20060909] Tap @ C’est What (Toronto, ON). Fruity brown aroma. Black body with a creamy light brown head and lacing on the glass. Very thick, tar-like coffee, malty flavour. Full body, heavy on the tongue. Surprisingly dark and fully stouty for it’s name. [833C-20071113] Tap @ C’est What (Toronto, ON). Yeasty earthy hops aroma. Hazy, dark brown body with a medium-lasting creamy light brown head. Tastes like earthy mushrooms in a field of grass. Medium-full body. Initially unknowingly irritating, eventually quite enjoyable. The colour impressed me the most and the deep malty flavour. GregClow (2332), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 8, 2003 Chocolate brown colour with a mocha head. Mild roasted malt aroma with a hint of chocolate. Sweet malt flavour with more chocolate notes. Mellow, but flavourful, with a moderately dry finish. A good session beer for a crisp autumn evening. DougShoemaker (2560), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 12, 2002 Mild chocolate aroma, dark brown, hint of red, with a cappuccino head. Coffee and milk chocolate flavour, with roasted malts. Yum! A touch of bitterness, rich and creamy smooth. A very good Ale, even with Nitrogen. MrManning (1430), London, Ontario, Canada May 15, 2004 A dark brown body with a medium sized light chestnut coloured head. A sweet roasted malt aroma is what I am getting here. Very nice. Taste is hints of espresso, some mild bitterness, and just a smidgen of wateryness. very easy to drink, and it has a lot of flavour for a very low alcohol beer.
