Dark and chocolatey with hazelnut notes, bitter-sweet orange peel, and a touch of cardamon.

Very dark black pour. Light tan head. Strong raisin scent. Malts chocolate and more. Very complex nose. I expected thick and rich and this is neither. Watery but very favourful. Raisin malt dark bitter chocolate and more. Itís a bit much, like its trying too hard.

On tap at Cíest What. Found this one to be quite sweet with hazelnut, chocolate, and creme brule, moderate carbonation and mild+ body, little sticky on the finish.

This is pretty good, especially considering the choice of microbrews in Toronto. This is a rich beer, lots of raisin, chocolate, orange, and caramel. A bit medicinal, but otherwise very good.

On tap at Cíest What? Pours a dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt. Flavor of mostly chocolate malt and maybe some medicinal sweet notes. I donít get any of the orange. Palate was a little thin. Overall it was a decent chocolate beer, but slightly below my expectations. 7/4/6/3/14 [3.4/5]

Draught at Cíest What, Toronto
Black color, with small head. The arm aof roasted malts is mild and a bit biscuity. The flavor is also biscuity, with some dark chocolate;itís quite dry and rather weak; light vanilla impression.
Not bad, but itís like having a chocolate muffin from Starbucks; maybe with some more body it would be better.

Smells nutty, slightly oaky. It pours black with creamy small head. The orange in taste is very subtle, this seems more lie a stout than the vegetarian category. Decent. Canít detect these spices the menu talks about though.

On tap at Cíest What?. Black pour, lasting tan head. Nitro. Dark chocolate aroma, black coffee, fairly sweet. Dark Toblerone. Little bit watery. Balance is good and flavours are there. If thereís orange in here, I didnít quite get it, but I also didnít mind. It was good on itís own. Nice thick basic chocolate stout, more than a "spice/herb/vegetable".

Pitch black colour with small creamy light tan head. Chocolate, cappuccino and sweet milky notes in aroma. Oatmeal, roasted malt, orange and coffee in flavour.

Drougt at Cest What, Toronto. Dark brown color, creamy amber-tan head with good retention, coffee aroma, coffee-cocoa flavor, mild carbonation, medium finish. Could not taste the orange in it though there is a ghost of sweetness involved.

Cask at Cíest What. Deep black pour. The nose is very chocolately and cocoaish with a very light anise character. I donít really get much orange in here other than a bit of light estery fruit on the back of the palate. Itís actually a lovely chocolately porter, but the orange is nowhere to be found in it.
