Dry-sweet light roasty licorice taste with papery raisin notes. Mid-bodied, clean palate. Quite light in taste. Dry spicy peppery papery aftertaste. Earthy notes linger. Can tell that it’s been stored a while. Very nice, mild and drinkable. (0.5l bottle from KnutAlbert.)
OleR (1434), Oslo, Norway Nov 2, 2008 500 ml bottle@KnutAlbert’s. A minimal greyish head upon a crystal clear, deep reddish amber body. Rasins, plum-jam and caramel to the nose. Notes of candysugar. Taste is medium sweet with toasted malts and a fine earthy bitterness. Notes of refined brown sugar. Light to medium body. Earthy bitterness in the ending. Sweet, malty, bitter, bready, metallic taste. Rather sharp bitterness. MEdium body and co2. Miksu (1474), Jyväskylä, Finland May 4, 2008 0.5 l bottle. Ruby color with small fading head. Licorice, rye bread and toffee in the aroma. Rye bread, chocolate, caramel, toffee, pepper and honey in the flavor. Fairly drinkable but gets dull after a while.
