1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 rosenbergh (3486) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 8, 2011
500 ml can. BB 25.03.11. Courtesy of FatPhil.
Cloudy pale golden colour with small white head.
Weak aroma. Maybe some sweet maltiness (maybe not).
Flavour is also quite mild. Sweet sugary malty flavour combined with some weak grassy hops. Very mild for a Pilsener. Maybe that’s Olvi’s contribution to Cēsu. There are lots of better Pilseners in the Baltics.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 Jukkabro (3472) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 10, 2008
Yellow colored with little white head. Buttery aroma with cardboard and some sweet lemon, not too special. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is similar: butter and dry cardboard, same lemon here. Aftertaste dries with lemon still.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2008 500ml can.
Pale lager, some fizz. Wow, what an aroma - burnt, and I mean really burnt, bready goodness fills the air! However, in order to achieve that, I had to put a splash of it into my sauna löylyä. Without doing that, it was a slightly lemonady mildly malty aroma. And I mean mild. A bit fizzy in the gob, but not annoyingly so. Taste was thankfully devoid of nastiness, but alas devoid of most things that are good about beer. Mild maltiness, and if you close your eyes and concentrate hard enough, you might find the oils from a single flake of hop. Dare I say it, but it actually went down OK.

Thanks for my Aunt for this one. Canned. Yellow color, small white head. Not much going on taste wise. Tatsed like a old-man’s beer.
