2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
1 pint can. Pale golden color. Medium size, white head, stays. In every way it’s typical Cesu. Not bad, but not original and not exciting at all. Pork is yummi!

1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Can (pint) @Petalax
Clear golden color, small white head. Kind of cleanser or petrol aroma. Light bodied. Flavor is also very much like gasoline. Unclean corn malty flavor. Horrible.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can. Clear, pale. Slight corn aroma. Quickly dissipating white head. Medium bitter with slight sourness, no sweetness at all. Soft carbonation, thin, yet a bit sticky texture and light body. Overall - another cheap and inexpressive beer from Cesu Alus brewery that may appeal to only a selected group of people.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pint can sister brought from Latvia. Clear pale yellow beer, almost no head. A bit grainy malty aroma. Flavour is grainy malts and maybe a hint of hops. This is one of those beers for people who "don’t drink beer for it’s taste".

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
Canned. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is rubber, rotten vegetables, mild chlorine and some other not too clean things. Flavour is chlorine, cardboard, paper and some hay.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
A typical Latvian beer aroma, sour malt, butterscotch and alcohol. The taste is the same with vague hops tones. Located right on the border between the undrinkable and drinkable!

500ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Grassy and malty aroma. The taste is rather thin with grain, malt and some faint citrus hints. Boring.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2014 500ml bottle (Riga Airport) - gift from Serge at work - thanks! (4:2:4:2:7=1.9)
Pale gold, some scum for a head. Bland plasticky and slightly savoury aroma. Dishwatery ionic retronasals, a touch of blood or iron perhaps. Fantastically dull, but remarkably drinkable. All nastiness filtered out, it seems. Very macro, in particular, very A le Coq.
500ml can (Stockmann, Riga) (5:2:4:2:9=2.2)
Very perfumey aroma, quite nice and refreshing, real hint of hop use. Similar taste, but it does get a bit pale lagery later. Pale gold, brief head. Palate a bit watery, as you’d expect. Can believe that this is all-malt brew, and not an adjunct lager. Clean, very clean for Cesu, still think this might be brewed at A le Coq...

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Riga Airport.
Very similar to the red version, but not quite as sweet. This means a more pronounced lemon bite, but this is not too pleasant. I prefer the honey-tinged Latvian beer, but I’m afraid this is likely the future.
