KimJohansen (3351), Copenhagen V, Denmark Mar 30, 2008 Clear brown with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, sweet coffee, chocolate and vanilla notes. Flavor goes the same way and ends sweet. Would accompany my desert so well. yespr (6400), Copenhagen O, Denmark Mar 29, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and amber with a dense tan head. Aroma is coffeish and chocolate in a blend. Flavour is the same with a distinct sweetness and a light lingering spice note. Ends smooth with no bitterness but a subtle roasted malt note. Ungstrup (11164), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 4, 2008 Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of coffee and mocca as well as some notes of vanilla. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, coffee, mocca, and vanilla as well as a light touch of caramel and whiskey. The body is thin. Too sweet for my liking - somewhat like an iced coffee, which I don’t fancy. yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 27, 2007 Bottle. Clear, chestnut colored body, and a beige head. Quite sweet on the nose, with coffee and mocha as well. The same goes for the flavor, it’s quite sweet, but the coffee adds bitterness and the mocha gives it a rounded taste. Medium body. A lovely surprise, especially considering the other ratings for this beer. (070705) gunnfryd (2743), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 26, 2007 Bottle. Dark red brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is mocca, chocolate. Flavour is mocca, sweet, coffee, chocolate. mocca and coffe finish. Very special and nice beer.
