Bottled (Brewed in Belgium). Pale golden colour, small white head. Plastic, vegetably and quite harsh rubbery notes in aroma. Flavour is maize, rubber, plastic some acidic bitterness. Time to do the happy dance... I don’t hae to drink this ever again. And no, it doesn’t even work as a palate cleaner...

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2008 Bottle. (brewed by Trio, Norway.) Oh, how I have waited to slip this beauty down my throat. Not! It is a pale, yellow beer, filtered, and topped by a white, sorry excuse for a head. The nose is weak, grain, hay and some really, vague notes of hops are present. There’s some lemon notes as well. It continues in the same way when tasting it. There’s not much flavor, but at least there’s some lemon and hops coming towards the end. Watery body. Why brew a beer pretending to be Indian, even stating "Product of India" on the neck label, in Norway? At least they could have had the decency to make it worth the malt and hops. I don’t blaim Trio, they probably did what they were told to do, it is a contract brew, but why order something like this? On the other hand, Trio was the obvious choice when chosing a Norwegian brewer to do a thin, not-much-tasting pale lager. (070324)
