Cask at the Coach & Horses, Norwich, 27th Dec 2007. I always thought the B stood for ’Best’ as Brewery Tap was the ’ordinary’ bitter. Clear amber with a line of foamy head. Subtle malt aroma with some fruitiness. Nutty, malty flavour with a good dry finish. Nice beer.

Half on cask. Golden red-tinged. Low level of foam. Some notes of juicy fruit in aroma and flavour. Very dry and malty finish. Watered (The Coach and Horses, Norwich 25.09.2006)

Straight from the brewery. Good beer with lots of flavour - very hoppy. Dark in colour. I’ve had it a number of times, but it does leave a bad hangover the next day - after only 2-3 pints.

Half pint pulled at the Alexandra Tavern in Norwich, clear amber with a slightly off-white filmy head. A strong strawberry fruit aroma. Very smooth mouthfeel with strawberry flavours combining with juicy malts. Only complaint would be that the aftertaste was a too tangy. Reminds me a little of my favourite drop - Emerson’s Bookbinder.
