3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Rodders (137) - Norwich, - MAR 1, 2009
(Draught at the Coach and Horses, Norwich) Pint looked fairly good, if a little weak - was golden (you don’t say) with a small but perfectly white head. Smell was of hops, citrusy, with an element of bitterness and malt. Taste was a good biscuity malt flavour combined with citrusy, lemon and orange hops bringing an air of bitterness to produce a good bittersweet, well rounded flavour. Nice, a good golden cask beer. Good start to the night.
