3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reviewed from notes. On tap at the brewpub in August 2009.
Pours a cloudy yellow color that is nearly opaque. White head that is initially a few fingers high leaves some pretty good lacing. Nose brings some light citrus notes, faint sweetness, and a bit of wheat. The taste is a bit of orange and lemon along with wheat. Good thin mouthfeel with nice carbonation; a pretty drinkable summer brew.

Draught: Poured a hazy orange that seemed more golden as it settled, the head was white. The aroma was very sweet with honey and orange tones to it. The taste was just bitter enough to open my taste buds up to the honey and definetly had that wheat hartiness to it. Very smooth after taste which I enjoyed.

UPDATED: MAR 27, 2005 Rerate from chama river-This is Tedís most improved beer so far from the old blue corn productions. Pours pale yellow with a nice fluffy white head. nice honey and citrus notes on the aroma. palate is full, especially for an american wheat! This is one of the best in the gener for shure. I smell an award winner here Ted!
tap at brewpub-grainy/yeasty aroma. pale filtered yellow appearance. pretty boring brew that could use non-filtering.

A filtered wheat beer. Clear straw color. Perfume and citrus aroma plus some light coriander spice. Lightly sweet taste. Soft and refreshing. Unfortunately, filtration eliminates any chance of finding depth in American Wheat beers like this.
