Clear gold with a bit of white head. A clasic pils; clean with hints of fruits. Refreshing and I don’t generally like pilsners...I would say it rivals or surpasses those I had in Czech!

Hazy straw. Husky palate. Not much aroma. Grainy, corn-tasting faux-macro. I moved on quickly from this one.

Draft at brewpub. Pours golden with a slight cereal note on the aroma. Creamy smooth taste. It’s quite refreshing without actually tasting like anything.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Thorpe429 (4945) - , Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2011
Reviewed from notes. On tap at the brewpub in August 2009.
Pours a very clear yellow-straw color with a white head that quickly recedes and does not really leave behind any lacing. The nose is light grain and a bit of corn. The flavor is quite plain with slight grain and some vegetal flavors. Mouthfeel is really thin and a bit watery. Drinks fairly poorly and was not all that good.

Sampled, pours a clear straw color with very light head and aroma of bread and slight hay. Taste follows the aroma with a very lagerish type taste i cant quite describe. A very good example of a malty light lager.
