Low head but not flat. Lacked carmel that most redís have but still very good and malty. Beatiful red color and very clean.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by DarkElf!! Pours a very cloudy golden/copper color not like an imperial red at all. no lacing. aroma is malty and nutty with an enjoyable yeastiness to it. Flavor is pretty good, with a nice combination of malt and hop. smooth on the palate and enjoyable to drink. Thanks again Stephen!!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to Darkelf for this one. Pours with a coper body topped by a thin head with little lacing. Itís sweet yet bitter with a piney and grassy hop undertone. Medium to full bodied and slighlty tingly on the tongue.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear rusty golden shade offers a large and long-lasting off-white head. Strikingly resinous, oily and citrusy hops ravage the nose, the underlying malts being thick, dry and toffee-ish. It evolves like that, fully hoppy and aromatic, the big malt, big hops mentality, offering as much flavor as possible. Not the type of beer I normally enjoy, but this is one I donít have anything bad to say about, it does exactly what it wants and does it well, the caramel malts stopping short the acidity that would like to get through.

10.01.05 Thanks to whaleman at Loganís. I didnít think I took notes on this, but I guess I did, and Iím glad because it was tasty stuff that deserves some propers. Bright copper pour with lasting off white head. Aroma is fresh and piney, a touch soapy, orange oil. Big and sticky palate cleans up nicely thanks to fine eff. Big hops are citrus and resinous; sweet caramel, toasted nuts, toasty biscuit, lots of pine and something wintery. Palate abuser for sure. Very nice.

Bright golden with a frothy, lasting head. Smooth and soft texture; medium body. Wonderful aromas of orange and clean pine. Subtle caramel coated nuts follow. Hoppy good. One of the better finds at GABF05.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thick head, clear golden. Dry, fruity hop aroma. Taste has sticky, resinous hops up front. Monster burning hop bitterness lingers through a long hoppy finish. Yum! Thanks whaleman.
