Tap @ Chama River. Pours a dark amber appearance with an off white head. Rich toffee, caramel, a bit floral, earthy aroma. Chewy caramel, toffee, a bit syrupy, slightly bitter flavor. Not bad.

tap at brewpub-pours deep brown with a small fizzy tan head with minor lacing. nose of dark fruits, roasted nuts, cashews and some bitter hops, way more hops than most brown ales. flavors showcase the burnt nuts and bitter hops, bit bitterness here-lots of big spicy hops (noble type) that dry this beer out pretty nicely and make it a bit more interesting. body has some prickly carbonation, which somewhat hindered the overall sucess of this beer however, its still alot more interesting than most browns out there. cool experiement!
