COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

70cl bottle from Mercadona. Pale yellow, greenish colour, no head. Nose is vinegar, sour apples, yeasty, followed by dusty notes. Flavour of sour apples, bit of vinegar. Low carbonated and a bit watery. Fairly dry finish.

Bottle that I picked up at the Eroski supermarket, Gernika, Basque Country, Northern Spain 27.06.11 consumed at Camping Igueldo campsite, Igueldo, San Sebastian, Basque Country, Northern Spain sat outside Frank (camper) 03.07.11 Pours hazy urine colour. The aroma is straw with a touch of sweet apple, touch of the farmyard nose to this. Refreshing cider slips down really well, touch sharp with light acidic back bite, though it’s a fairly subtle cider with a nice crisp refreshing slightly tart apple flavour. A7 A3 T6 P4 Ov14 3.4

70cl bottle from supermarket in playa del ingles, gran canaria. not widely distributed in this city, only saw it in one supermarket, dino something. hazy yellow, no head. aroma is a nice balanced blend between sour, acid and apple. also faint spices. flavor is very sour, apples can only be faintly detected. slight vieneagra, lots of citrus, quite dry. could easily be a champagne semidry or a dry white wine, or a real good sour ale. alc. totally hidden. if you like sour, this is your cider. very refreshing.
