You can smell the hot peppers on the pour. Taste is kind of like a habanero hot sauce mellowed with hops although hops don’t cut all the hotness. The pepper taste lingers on the palate after the finish.

Keg @ Beer Run. Amber pour with a small head. The nose is mellow lime and pickled pepper. Moderate singed grass. A bit of caramel-dipped red apple. The taste is much more aggressive than the nose. Wow. Stinging peppers, pickled veggies. Moderately bitter. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, I’m a bit biased against pepper (and elderflower!) flavors in beer. There’s nothing wrong with the execution of the beer, but what’s the point of it?
