A rare German style, the gose is a slightly tart wheat ale made with salt during the brewing process. Our version has flavors of melon with yeast esters and a firm finish provided by Himalayan pink sea salt.

Tap @ Pour. Light yellow with delicate foamy head. Smelly a little like hay with daisies and cereal. Tastes a little like Cap’n Crunch cereal plus some hops. Dry with a fruity aftertaste.

2oz pour at Brookland Pint, pours a watery, clean straw gold with some clumpy white head. Nose is weak, gristy, watered down lemonade, mild straw. Flavor follows, chalky flour, some cracker, watery lemon. Water finish.

Sample in a flight at the Craft Growler Shop. Pale yellow, with no head, but lots of bubbles. Light lemon juice, salt, hay, and some cloves. Sweet and citrusy, but a little weak. Very light body, sharp, and a little watery. This is a weak, watery take on a gose.
