3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Keg @ Champion. The pour’s light amber with a small head. The nose is super pissy. Nicely vibrant pacific northwest hops. Lemon sherbert. A bit of herbal funk. The taste is dank MJ, green shoots. General biomass. More lemon. Nicely expressive, vibrant. Not overly malty. Medium body, fine carbonation. Overall, this tastes fresh, tasty.

Sampled during CBC 2013. Orange pour with a small khaki head. Light hop aroma, some citrus, pine, grapefruit, light onion. Lightly bitter flavor, a bit too much malt for me, some citrus, grapefruit. Not bad.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Oranges, limes, apricots, and light caramel on the nose. Red-orange hue, with white head, and decent head retention. Good bitterness, and well-balanced and well-supported by the malt backbone. Full-bodied with lively carbonation and a snappy, bitter finish. Maintains the traditional IPA style while incorporating some big hop features.

The taste is pithy lime and grapefruit, other citrus and some resin notes. Medium bodied with a lingering bitterness. Definite West-coast style IPA. Solid beer.
