3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aromas of coffee, chocolate, and subtle hops. Black with ruby highlights, khaki head with medium retention. Bitter, lightly sweet, roasted coffee and chocolate flavors. Medium-full bodied, lively carbonation, roasty, chocolatey finish with lasting bitterness and roast. It’s nice to have a good, homemade porter minutes from my home.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours as black as coal, topped with a light tan head. The nose is a touch of coffee, some graininess and a bit of general spiciness. Taste wise, chocolate, nutty, a slightly roasty edge. Medium bodied and quite moreish. Good stuff!
