100ml bottle. Clean clear apple juice color with a few clear bubbles. Nose is rich apples, like an orchard on a crisp fall day. Flavors of apple sugars and light skins. Palate is thick with tannins and is very sticky. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

100 ml bottle. Clear honey brown with a few bubbles. Nose is intense apple, bubblegum and faint plastic. Syrupy, lightly sticky with a soft tang. Taste is sweet and tart apple and peel with an earthy note that counters some of the sweetness.

2014-04-15. Crisp golden yellow body, headless, syrupy legs on the glass. 3++ Aroma is sweet, syrupy with a twig like apple stem and seed note, fruity apple. 7++ Flavour is quite sweet, fruity apple core, mild acidity in the finish keeps the it from becoming cloying but the sugary apple sweetness comes back in the aftertaste leaving sweet apple juice and apple sauce like flavours in the mouth. Notes of apple skins and tannins in the background grow as it warms up. Syrupy smooth medium to full bodied palate is uncarbonated. Not super complex but richly sweet and pretty tasty. Tiny bottle purchased in May 2013 from East Shore Vineyards, Burlington, VT

Tiny bottle, awwwww! Deep golden colour. Aroma is sweet apple juice, slightly oxidized. Sweet cooked apple flavour, very sticky, but lacking further depth of character. Unpleasant chemical-tannic note in the finish.

Bottle shared by Steve. Pours clear gold. Nose/taste of sweet caramelized apples and confectioners sugar. Thick and sweet on the palate. Smooth.

Pouring at the Applepalooza event at the Astor Center. Pours a clear gold. Big and sweet, sticky apple sugar all over it. Light acid, smooth and sweet. Lovely, soft sugar, sweet apple. Picks up a tannic apple peel note. Very nice.

One of those ridiculous tall 500mL bottles, poured at CiderDays 2011. Aroma is a strong with a clean fresh apple. Body is incredibly, incredibly sweet. There’s not enough residual acidity for balance, and the wretched Honeycrisp gives a vapid and shallow flavor base.

Sampled @ Astor Wines. Least favorite of the three available. Why are honeycrisps never on sale? Galas everywhere at 99c a pound. This is the second or third cider I’ve had tonight made with honeycrisps. That’s the reason they’re $2.49lb everywhere. None of them were very good, aside from maybe being able to tick them like this. Syrupy, light maple color. Glossy. Smells of brown sugar, apple sauce, a touch of vanilla & some skin. Gooey honey & caramel sweetness. Just a smidgen of tartness & practically no acid to be found. Quite thick & fatty. Just sort of lays there though. Plop.

Caramelized apples in a round body...Tartness matches the sweetness, but the finish is a tad shallow compared to their flagship and Northern Spy ice ciders...A fun experiment and after-dinner drink nonetheless...
