100ml bottle. Clean clear apple juice color with a few clear bubbles. Nose is rich apples, like an orchard on a crisp fall day. Flavors of apple sugars and light skins. Palate is thick with tannins and is very sticky. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, shared. Clear mellow gold pour. Aroma is light, light granny smith apple, light caramel, cinnamon, quite spicy. Taste is rather acidic, light caramel sweetness but strong green apple acidity. Palate is full bodied, but doesn’t have the richness associated with the style. Still drinks fine.

pours clear medium dark golden, pink tint, with a some nice legs. spicy red apples, booze rather than integrated warming alcohol - very peppery in fact; candied ginger, plain honey sweetness, minerals. flat carbonation, medium body - very oily; sweet, very lightly tart, astringent and burning hot finish. drinks like a cheap sweetened calvados - way below eden’s standards.

2 oz sample from bottle (375 ml) at home. Thanks to JulienHuxley for this one! Clear orangey-golden leaving tiny legs on the glass. Flavors of caramel, wood, grapey notes, mild spiciness, baked apples, mild oxidation notes and pears. Taste is medium sweet for an ice cider with moderate acidity and just a tiny bit of alcohol. Medium body. Still. A bit oily mouthfeel. Finish features mostly the "burnt" aspects with caramel, baked apples and oxidation. It’s a good ice cider but it lack the depth and complexity from the best of the style and there’s not a "signature" character either.

Bottle from Hunger Mountain Coop. It pours clear deep amber with limited head. The nose is sweet-sour, oily, woody, sweet apple pie, marzipan, stewed apples & pears and tart tatatin. The taste is slick, bitter-sweet, rich sweet apple, apple skin, stewed pear, some warming alcohol, caramelised nuts and honey with a slick finish. Medium - full body and oily mouth-feel. Rich and decadent. Nice one.

A golden ice cider with aroma of sweet fruity apple sauce and light roasted notes, light celery salts, interesting. In mouth, a superb mix of sweet acidity, apple jam, light tropical fruits, very nice and complex. Well done. Bottle at Vermont Cheese Fest 2015.

[6245-20140415] Mini bottle. Metallic apple skins aroma. Clear, gold yellow body with no lasting head. Boozy astringent apple sauce flavour has a lingering bitter apple pip woody aftertaste. Medium body. Average, a little too bitter pip for me. (7/3/7/3/14-) 3.4

Bottle at franks. Pours an orange golden body. Aroma is sweet candied apples. Mouthfeel is sweet and sugary with notes of Apple and sugar. Pretty one dimensional but few ice ciders have ever been bad.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2015 Tiny bottle at Franks. Most of us took a swig of this on our way out the door. Golden color with not much head or lace. A little overly sugar apple forward with too much of a skin bite. Still enjoy most ice ciders but this was a little unbalanced. Tried again. Pretty nice but still a bit hot for the percent

100 ml bottle. Clear honey brown with a few bubbles. Nose is intense apple, bubblegum and faint plastic. Syrupy, lightly sticky with a soft tang. Taste is sweet and tart apple and peel with an earthy note that counters some of the sweetness.
