2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 collieman (191) - montreal, - JUL 1, 2005
Not bad. From a pint can. Highly carbonated coper red ale with a whispy quickly disapating whiteish head. Aroma is a bready malt blended with roasted, almost burnt, grains, some light fruityness, light body, musky aftertase. Not great, not bad, just an ok beer. And it’s cheep, so if ya see it, try it.
Cheers

500ml can pours a pale amber color with a 2 finger white head that settles quite quickly leaving very little lacing behind. Aroma is light caramel and light hops. Taste is light malty sweetness with light hop bitterness. Nothing more than a typical macro brew.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 nickchalk (229) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 31, 2004
Looks decent, rather dark amber-brown, large lively head that quicly dissapears, no lacing. Aroma is slightly hoppy and caramel. Flavour has some burnt notes, though the finish tastes like mildew or something, and is (mercifully) short. Rather thin. Decent overall. Bottle.

(Bottle) Pours a frothy, white head and a mahogany body. Nose of faint caramel. Makes Rickard's seem like Champion! So sad...

Deep red, almost brown, no more of a rusty colour, with a frothy slightly off-white head. Caramel and yeasty aroma. Then its all downhill with this one. Ugh, ugh, ugh. Bad vinous, yeasty, alcohol, and smoky caramel flavours. Almost like a bland version of a malt liquor. Starts watery, then thickens on the finish.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 presario (4133) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 5, 2002
Deceptive slow rising head. Dark gold colour as opposed to red. Like a thin Rickards Red with a weird cherry aftertaste. Kind of thin and unremarkable except for the cherry.
