I’m not a fan of weissbier (thus the low score), but this one should satisfy most devotees.

Bottle 33cl, a cloudy amber beer with medium head. Nose is malty, slightly lemony, sweet like. Aroma is malty, slightly astringent, cereal like, notes of agrume and honey, near to several french pale ale, not bad, good grany aftertaste with some peppery hops.

Found in Chartres, and perhaps only in the town of Chartres - haven’t even seen this brand in Paris 100km away but it’s at every little store in Chartres! Pours with huge off-white head and a greyish orange foggy colour, very murky like most artisanal French beers are. Strong aroma of lemon and hops. Taste is a lot of malt with a slightly sour and refreshing malt finish, very few hops come out. Dry finish but a bit of an odd aftertaste. Pretty good, a unique witbier.
