COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bière de garde non filtrée et non pasteurisée. Elle est fabriquée, selon des méthodes traditionelles. Bière sur lie de levure, signe de sa refermentation en bouteille. Brasée à la ferme.

Found in Chartres, possibly only in the general vicinity of Chartres. Dark foggy amber colour, decent level of head. Lots of barley and alcohol on the nose, gives it some spiciness but not an excessive amount. Taste is a nice heavy barley and alcohol mix, some malt tastes, very bready. Dry finish. Really nice, never had a Bière de Garde of this type.
