"With its attractive taste and a price that appealed to consumers at all levels, the response and success of Chang marked a new era and turned a new page for the Thai beer industry. In 1998 Beer Chang was awarded the “Gold Medallion” at the International Beer Competition in Australia in the category of “Lager, Unlimited Degree”.

33 cl bottle from Rema 1000 supermarket. Typical easy drinkable generic lager. Nice as a thistquencher on a summers day.

[Bottle] Straw colored pour with a fizzy and quickly receding head on top. Dusty malts and light grass notes in the nose. Similar flavors. Sweet grains and light perfume notes. Light in body and rather clean. Better body compared to the average Thai lager. Tasting notes from 9/2014.

Chang beer is by far my favourite beer for the legitimate reasons listed as following; However irrelevant it may be to the beer tasters list of considerations, Chang beer has provided as a fantastic ice in situations of particular awkwardness e.g. A large group of people meeting each other for the first time, secondly Chang taste-wise has a particular after taste that cannot be reproduced by any other larger I have tasted to date, thirdly the smoothness of the beer appeals to any experienced or inexperienced drinker, it has a tendency to sit at the back of the throat, allowing you to annoy it for longer than your average brew. Finally but by no means the least important factor when considering Chang, is it’s pricing which falls at least 10 baht below it’s competitors, making it affordable and additionally a sustainable drink when visiting south east Asia. I sincerely hope that Chang gains a higher rating and reputation on this page as it has served me and others I know quite well.

Flaska från SB. Ljust gyllene med en aning vitt skum. Doft av sött bröd. Väldigt lite smak men lite sötma finns och en minimal beska.

W aromacie słodowość i lekkie melanoidyny. Barwa złota, klarowne. Piana drobno i średnio pęcherzykowa, niska, krótka. W smaku słodowość, wodnistość, i lekka kwaskowa kontra. Średnia goryczka. Ogólnie dosyć puste, ale całkiem pijalne piwo.

Think Tsingtao only from Thailand. Then somehow remove 10% of the flavor. Plain as day.

Clear golden bubbly body with a soap bubbly head that thins quick. Thin sweet grass aroma. Faint malt and spice taste. Clean and crisp finish.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ the local Lidl supermarket Very pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is grainy and slightly grassy. Taste is not too sweet for a macro lager

S’alright. Not much head, not much aroma. Quite a nice taste though - not too sweet and a touch of grassy hops. Better than Singha for me.
