2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Chang pours slightly hazy and with a pale. Head persisted for a little longer than average.
There’s barely any aroma present. What is there is not so great. Light sugary smells with a slightly off-putting funky malts (almost a little bit of rancid butter).
Very much like the smell would indicate, this beer has very little taste. And what is there doesn’t much appeal to me- a little sugary but with that rancid butter malt taste just flirting on the edge of my palate. Blech.
At least the mouthfeel is about right. Light carbonation, light consistency. Maybe a little much malt follow through actually.
I wouldn’t drink a lot of these, even with the lightness. If you’re in Thailand and looking for a beer, I think Leo is your best bet.

Pale yellow colour, some white foam. Medium carbonation. Bad taste of corn and sweet malts. Almost no bitterness. Very watery.

Like Coors Light. How anyone could find this tasty is beyond me. It has a stale yellow flavor that leaves an unwelcome rotten taste in your mouth. Bottle FROM Thailand.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A pleasant, refreshing and easy to drink beer, although it doesn’t offer much taste. Lacks a bit of carbonation to really have that refreshing feeling.
A - pale straw color, clear with a very weak and quickly disappearing head
S - very gentle, mainly grassy hops, but not much of that either
T - sweet and grainy, not much to talk about here

Of the Thai lagers (Singha, Phuket, Leo) this is probably my favorite.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale golden beer with a really tiny head. Grains and malt in aroma. Tastes quite sweet, with very little bitterness and practically indistinguishable hops. Yet quite pleasant malty taste there. Carbonation seems a bit artificial though. Overall a drinkable beer, but nothing really special. Good for a sunny beach, I guess.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a simple clean yellow with a corn aroma mixed with sweetness. Taste is clean corn syrup and a hint of some indistinguishable sweet flavor. An easy drinking beer.

I just recently pushed Pale Lager out of my Top 10 rated styles but then I couldn’t resist this gem during work lunch possibly putting it back in. pours yellow with small white head. nose is grainy and metallic. tastes much sweeter than i expected with some grains, lemon peel, and cardboard. crisp enough to cool down heat from my chicken thai basil dish
