2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Chang pours slightly hazy and with a pale. Head persisted for a little longer than average.
There’s barely any aroma present. What is there is not so great. Light sugary smells with a slightly off-putting funky malts (almost a little bit of rancid butter).
Very much like the smell would indicate, this beer has very little taste. And what is there doesn’t much appeal to me- a little sugary but with that rancid butter malt taste just flirting on the edge of my palate. Blech.
At least the mouthfeel is about right. Light carbonation, light consistency. Maybe a little much malt follow through actually.
I wouldn’t drink a lot of these, even with the lightness. If you’re in Thailand and looking for a beer, I think Leo is your best bet.

1.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
330ml bottle poured into schooner glass. No aroma.minimal head, pale, clear, medium sweetness, fizzy, not a lot going on here.Quite crisp with a tiny bit of bitterness on the palate Looks appalling in a glass, no lacing, no head, fizzing like soft drink. But I bet you’d drink one in a minute on a hot afternoon & then order another.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a pale yellow with a quick to fade head. Aromas stale straw, slight toffee, slight grass. Flavors slight toffee, light hay, a hint of tea and slight honey. Light to medium sweet and more toward the full body than a typical crispness with most lagers.

Touted as Thailand’s pride.... Stay clear. Avoid. This is poison. Can give bad hangover after drinking only 1-2 large bottles. Way too sweet too. No character, just cheap alcohol often used for binge drinking among Thai men. If you have to drink it add ICE cubes. Good luck.
