ThaiBev stopped production of Archa, Chang Beer, Chang Draught, Chang Light, and Chang Export in 2015. A new product, Chang Classic, was launched, with production shared between ThaiBev’s three breweries. The recipe of Chang Classic includes rice, previously only used in the domestic 6.4% version of Chang Beer.
It is not known if Chang Export was ever a different beer to the 5% abv Chang Beer and Chang Draught or simply a re-badge.

Golden lager with slight bubbling and a puny white head. Aroma is sharp bitter malt with a higher quality than you get with most Asian adjunct lagers. This one may actually be pure. The flavor is sharp and so is the palate. Somehow it tastes half decent for what it is... an export pale lager brewed in the cheapest way possible.

the aroma and the taste is too malty and not complex at all. Perfect if u want to become confident with entry level malty beer. Quite fruity if u want to talk for more then 20 seconds..

500ml can from a 7-11 shop @ Walking Street in Pattaya, Thailand.
Rated at our hotel room in Siam Bay Shore Resort. Pours strong golden and crystal clear, with fine creamy white head. Smells very malty and grainy. Starts with some musty malts, very grainy and sweetish. Middle part is malty-grainy and sweetish, with some metallic hops in the background. Goes into a grainy-sweet and moderate hoppy finish with a slight bitterness.

Medium coarseish white. Clear yellow body with light carbonation. Papery sugary aroma with fruity mealy notes. Dry-sweetish mealy vaguely grainy taste. Empty, fluffy mouthfeel. Mid-to-light body. Dryish papery mealy aftertaste. Not very pleasant, but not really bad, either. (0.33l can, gift from the wife.)

Ljusgul i färgen vitt skum. Smakar och doftar av gräs majs urvattnad malt, metallisk konstig bitterhet. Trist
