1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Sigmund (3712) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - DEC 25, 2011
330 ml bottle, simply as Chang Beer 4.2%, now in Norwegian grocery stores. Extremely pale yellow colour, nearly colourless. Moderate to low white head. Aroma of baby porridge and grass. The flavour has some sweetish pilsener malts and hints of citrus, making the beer not undrinkable - but this is certainly not something to seek out.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 FatPhil (6207) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 15, 2011
330ml bottle (K Market, Kamppi) - as Cosmos Brewery Co. Ltd.’s Chang Beer at 4.2%
Bland vaguely sweet malty aroma. Pale and fizzy. Very perfumey taste, floral, honey, and some corn too. Sweet finishsimilar to the taste, including being a bit corny. Far from unpleasant. Pretty clean, and fairly enjoyable to drink. Going head to head with my sour pickled daikon coleslaw, this puts up a remarkably good fight, but my pungency beats its sweetness in the long run - they’re quite a good match. I’d say this is a very good curry beer.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 rosenbergh (3486) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 5, 2011
330 ml bottle. As Chang Beer. 4.2%. Finland.
Clear pale yellow colour with tiny white head.
Weak aroma of... malt I guess.
Flavour is sweet malt and corn. Waterish.
Not necessarily bad just tasteless.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 yngwie (9196) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - NOV 12, 2011
Bottle. A clear one, pale golden in color and with a minimal sized white head. Rather poor aroma with burnt plastic, grains and a grassy touch. Some citrusy fruityness in the flavor, along with burnt plastic, grains and a touch of grass. Thin to medium body, low on carbonation. Drinkable, but I’d rather have some water. 111112
