Cask at Sheffield Tap. Clear, pale gold colour. Thin, tight, lasting all the way down, white head. Very inviting looking. Aroma is floral, with a light hop character. Taste is dry, and not a lot else, other than maybe a light spiciness. Thin, slightly metallic palate. Bitter finish.

Draught at Sheffield Tap. Yellow coloured beer with a small but dense white head. Sweeter grassy hoppy noted aroma. Medium palate. FInish is bitter light metallic noted with a longer dry bitter ending. Medium.

Overall impression: Fresh and tasty ale.

Cask, The Salmon. Golden with an off white foam. Aromas are grain, honey and lemon with toasted malts. Biscuit with woody notes and spices. Flavours are biscuit with caramel and white grape. Spicy with mellow grapefruit and a woody, dry finish. Nice.
