Bottle from Glen Park Hotel, Ayr. Appearance - bright and golden with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - yeast and mineral notes dominate the faint citrus. A little floral though. Taste - again mostly yeast and mineral. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeast notes are dominant and it’s somewhat chalky, but it is refreshing.

Handpull cask at the Flying Scotsman, Doncaster. Golden and slightly hazy. Big tight white head on top. Odd aroma, a bit of citrus hop notes with plastic and a hint of sulphur. Refreshing bittersweet taste turning more bitter for the finish. Some apricot manages to raise its head above a parapet of acrid bitterness in the aftertaste. Not bad but has a few issues.

Cask conditioned at York Beer Festival ’15. Straw with white head. This proved to be quite a light, malty, grainy beer, thin on the palate, cereal in the close. I didn’t really get the hops. Not great.
