golden orange color with a white head. The taste is light fruity notes and water. Boring beer...

Taste like dried apricots more than fresh ones. most would call it a little on the sour side, i would call it more tart than sour. not bad but i am sure there are much better lambic out there. it was a little dry on the finish, i would have like there to be a hint of spice, but thats just me.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 DougShoemaker (3149) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2004
Light peach aroma, opaque amber/peach colour, pours a thin, off-white head. Mildly fruit flavoured, like a mix of berry and green grapes, with a metalic after taste. Sweet, syrupy, orinary.

1.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - NOV 11, 2003
Apricot jam aroma. Extremely sweet and artificial flavour. Another terrible fruit beer from De Troch.

It was on the edge a bit rotten, like most other beers from Chapeau! This was an average experience. And very sweet.

There is less of the sour bite to this than some of the other Chapeau, but it's there just enough to cut through the honeyed, mead like sweetness. Apricot, yes - but more honey than anything else. Tastetastic!

Bottled. Hazy gold, poor head moderate condition. Sweetened lambic nose with little trace of apricot, yeast sediment provides some musty illusions of cobwebbed halls full of giant oaken vats. Oversweet in the mouth with a fruity apricot and apple flavour. Slight lambic note returns in the aftertaste.

Slight apricot nose and taste. I thought this could have used a little more gusto in the fruit department. More sugary than anything.

Seedy, pitty nose and taste. Dry acidic start and aftertaste. What apricot taste that lands in the middle seems fake.
