Bottle, corked and capped. Very hazy orange amber, creamy white head that recedes to a thin skim. aroma is apricots in syrup and light funk. sweet apricot fruit, quite genuine, with musty basement nuances and a lactic tart finish. Quite sweet, but with a pleasant tartness and funky edge.

Hazy gold, no head, syrupy medium body, low carbonation.

Aroma: very caramel.

Taste: sweet caramel, dark ripe apricot, and a nutty or pit note.

Great flavor. Sweet, but not as cloying as other fruit lambics.

Early amateur rating warning! A real eye opener, astonishingly fruity and sharp. Refreshing.

A: The pour is a straw color with a short lived white head. S: Sweet and sugary with light apricots and some slight vegetable aroma that sort of overwhelms what apricot is there. T: Intensely sweet and sugary with a definite apricot flavor. I think apricots are usually too sweet anyway, and this is just overdoing it. A little sourness, but not enough for me. M: The body is light with a high carbonation and a slightly grainy feel on the tongue. D: Not my favorite of these lambics, but certainly not the worst either.

Bottle sampled at Firefly, pours golden orange with almost no head. Aroma of apricot, candied sugar and yeast. Flavour is extreme sweet apricots, quite jammy and sugary. Decent.

Bottle. golden orange, with a fizzy white head. Apricot sweet aroma, but like an old semi-spoiled apricot. Flavor is a bit better, with more of a candy like sweetness. Not awful.

(bottle - corked & capped 12 oz) Nice orange color with almost no head or carbonation. Sweet and fruity apricot aroma with some hints of musk and wood. Sweet and fruity flavor at the start with a nice hint of apricot juice. Some wood notes come through near the middle and then the flavor sort of disappears. Very dry and faint fruity aftertaste.
