Apologize for the weak notes...but like the peche, the only thing I noted on this was the sweet, extract like quality of the apricot flavor, which I didnt care for. Notes: Tour de Gueuze ’11

25cl bottle shared with Thompson. Hazy medium orange color, fast disappearing white to off-white head. Smell sugar, sweetness and very clearly abricot! Taste sugar, sweet, abricot, and a weird way too sweet aftertaste. Low carbo, low body.

Fra flaske på Brouwerij De Troch i Wambeek under Tour de Geuze 1 Mai 2011. Aprikosfarget. 0 skum. Aprikosaroma - og smak. God men kjedelig.

(375ml bottle thanks to Mora2000) clear light orange pour with soapy tan edge bubbles. Nose of flowers, roses, earth, apricot, and flour. Taste of coconut, cream, apricot, cotton candy, candi sugar, mildly tart, vinegar, not really offensive like many other Chapeau beers. Not a great fruit lambic either. Some sugar and raw grain mash are present as well.

The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is a mix of grain, grass and steamed vegetables. Not the least bit appetizing. Against my better judgment I decided to go ahead and drink the beer. The flavor is heavy on the sugary, sweet apricots with some grain and vegetable notes. The beer is extremely sweet. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not a good beer.

8/6/11. Capped and corked bottle. Horrid apricot colored pour with no head and disgusting giant chunks of yeast unless you’re super careful. The aroma is pure vinegar - apple cider vinegar if I had to pick - with an overly sweet flavor of vinegar, apricot, and downright sugar. I could barely choke this down. My oh my.

375mL bottle poured orange-golden into glass with white foamy head with minimal lacing. Smelled of apricot and tasted much the same. Overall, a decent fruit beer.

Bottle, at the brewery. An unclear, orange-golden beer with a dense, off-white head. Apricot and sugar on the nose. Sweet flavor with white sugar, apricot and some sourness. Dryish, yet quite sweet on the palate, medium body. A beer that is sort of pleasant, although I got some thoughts that it might taste better if blended with vodka or white rum. 110501
