Tasted 27/06/2005. 250ml bottle from Rumble’s, Wellington. Yellow gold with a tight white head that is small and slowly disappears. Bubbles hang in the glass giving a rather still appearance. Apiricots, sugar, a little sourness and a hint of the apricot stone all on the nose. Sweet with a very mild bitterness, almost like you’re sucking the apricot stone. A touch of sourness in the sweet finish. Light-med mouthfeel with a strange tartness at the back that irritates the back of the nasal passage slightly. Another desert beer, OK this time.

This was new and I thought I’d try it. Not to happy about my choice. It pours a murky light orange with no head or lacing (flat as a board).Somewhat offensive rotting fruit nose. Very tart flavor. Not really apricot but some kind of fruit… Beware

Bottle at home. Pours hazy golden with almost no head. The nose is dry-sweet apricot and pomerans. Flavour is similar but way to sweet and sticky somewhat like a fanta soda.

Orange with no head? Is this a beer? Really it looks more like McDonalds Orange drink to me. It’s sweet and smooth and certainly tastes of apricot but not really the dominant taste. Moreso honeyish. Maybe I got a really good bottle compared to others?

Bottle: Pours orange, no head. Lots of sour and sweet fruit and sugar in the aroma, this is going to be f’n soda. Flavour does provide lots of apricot but at the expense of YOUR SOUL. This "beer" company just continues to release filmy, awful fruit juice. Bah.

Pours light amber orange with fizzy head with little retention. Sugary sweet nose. Taste and body is like fruit juice. Light apricot, overly sweet. Pass.

Well, if you are looking for sweet, you have found the right beer. A little fake and a little too sugary for me.

Pours light yellow...no head. Aroma is monster artificial apricot and sugar. Flavor is similar...except there is a bit of milk and caramel. This beer is for girls. Mouthfeel is syrupy. This doesn’t taste that bad...but it is hard to drink...sugar water. Maybe be good to pour over fruit for desert.

UPDATED: MAY 17, 2006 Bottle. Imported from Belgium. Orange copper color, minimal head. Dried apricot aroma. Very sweet, dry flavor, not even a hint of malt or hop profile. Surprised at the low rating, I liked this a lot, though a bit weak. Wife remarked on how it tasted like new wine. I will have to venture further into the world of lambic.
