served at dancing ganesha. Sweet artifical candied fruits & candied sugars dominate the aroma. An orangish pour w/ a rocky white head. Palate is slightly fizzy and blah. Flavor is way over sweet someone spilled bad sugar in the batch. Just not good.

Bottle: Cloudy darker gold, short white head. Strange aroma of cheddar, dust and rotting fruit. Sweetish apricot notes, but more just brown sugar and balsamic vinegar. Not good.

Light orange color, spritzer like high carbonation. Quickly fading white head. Smell is funky musty spoiled yeast (i guess what people call "barnyard" perhaps, some apricot like fruit juice and sugar. Wow, extremely sweet tasting. More like soda pop than beer. Kids would like the taste of this, I’d bet. Just smells rancid though. Sweetest beer I’ve ever had. Fairly tart as well, which is sort of nice, but too sweet to drink much of. I dumped the last 3/4 of the bottle.

Pours an orange color with almost no head. Aroma is dirty damp wet paper, some apricot, and damp moldy wood. Flavor is sweet apricot juice, and a slightly moldy rotten aftertaste.

Note: Sampled while suffering a severe SMS syndrome. (Single-Malt Scotch) First impression was a startlingly sweet artificiality in the aroma. Like those horrific sugared dried fruit bits that taste mostly like preservatives. Not a bad looking pour...The flavor was really putridly sweet and fake. I KNEW it couldn’t have been the tumbler of Scotch on an empty stomach that made me pass out!

clear yellow with almost no head. looks an awful lot like a cheap lager. the aroma is that of apricot marinated pork. the flavor is god awful, boiled apricot syrup. yuck yuck. worst De Troch ever...

Settles as a honey-hazed orange/amber with noticable thickness and a slight head that is quickly a thin halo. Apricot is strong and candied in the aroma after an initial pungence of moldy wood. (This may have been the guise of the yeasty funk I had expected. I was saddened that it did not dissipate.) Thick & syrupy in the mouth with a contradictary astringence. Flavor is at once insanely sweet and tart with pronounced fruitiness and a tannic splash of oak. Mild acids singe like reflux while sourness lingers on the tongue like a Jolly Rancher.

Seedy, pitty nose and taste. Dry acidic start and aftertaste. What apricot taste that lands in the middle seems fake.

Bottle. Pours a hazy copper gold color with a minimal white head. Aroma of fruit, sugar, and sour notes. Flavor is sweet, fruity, carbonated, overly sweet, with a tart sour finish. I am not a fan of this style but that might be because i haven’t sampled a good lambic yet. However it was drinkable, and not a dumper, but id never purchase another.
