gunnfryd (3306), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 27, 2009 Bottle. Golden- orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is banana, sourness, yeast. Flavour is sweet, banana, yeast, acid, citrus. OK beer. KimJohansen (5662), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jun 8, 2009 Clear golden with a tiny white short lasting head. Not that sweet aroma with hints of banana and barnyard. Flavour had banana with mild abrnyard and wood notes. Finished mild tart. yngwie (4466), Kristiansand, Norway May 12, 2009 Bottle. A hazy, golden-orange beer with a small, white head. A slightly funky, sourish nose with banana dominating. The flavor is also citrusy and slightly sourish and funky, with ripe banana the most evident. Slightly stingingly sour mouthfeel. Short finish. A really strange one, or at least unusual. Refreshing, quenching and sort of nice. I expected a banana lambic to be a horrible idea, but it works. In a way. On the sweet side though, without it being just sweet. (090430) Rciesla (2795), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA May 4, 2009 Bottle. Golden hazy body with a thin white lacing. Wheat sweet banana, hints of apple and overly sweet. I poured most for fear of a diabetic coma. Anker (207), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 29, 2009 Bottle.
