(Bottle, thanks to Marsiblursi) Sampled at a tasting night at Marsiblursi’s place. Clear golden color, small head. Strong artificial over ripe banana mixed with wine scent. Sugary acidic apple juice taste, with wine aftertaste. Watery palate, no bitterness.

(Bottle) Pours light amber. Sweet and artificial banana aroma. Sweet flavour with apple juice and bananas. Some vinegar and a tiny hint of sourness. Light body. My first and last banana lambic.

Clear golden pour, small white head. I really don’t know why the ratings are so low this was right on with what they were going for. Aroma is huge banana it smells so good I almost don’t want to drink it. Taste is obviously the same you get the sweetness most fruit lambics have and it’s bananas all the way, taste just like a banana nothing off about it. I really thought this was a cool beer and different from most lambics being cherries or raspberries.

5/18/03: bottle.
hazy light orange-tan body with a green hue (appears a nice golden color when held up to the light). sweet sugared banana nose. ripe banana taste with lots of sugar. to be honest this “lambic” is sickeningly sweet and poorly executed.

(Bottle 25 cl) Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small, white head. Very distinct banana aroma. Thin-bodied with a very, very sweet banana flavour. The lambic sourness is only a vague memory in this beer. A soda pop much more than a beer. 150102

Bottle: Poured golden amber in color with a bubbly white head. Thick banana aroma was noticed as soon as it was poured. Sweet tangy banana flavor.

Bottled. Oh dear. This was horiffic. Sticky sweet and artificial. Candied sugar and banana flavooured. I’m sorry, bit this must be one of the worst beers I have ever tasted.
