Chapeau Banana

12.7 oz. bottle from Mr. Liquor. Pours orange/yellow with minimal head. Strong aroma of banana, pineapple, apple, and pear. Flavors of the same. Very Very sweet.

Bottle - corked and capped. Pours hazed gold with a small white head. Nose is unmistakably banana. There’s no confusing it. Light tartness, sugar and the faintest of wood notes. Taste is very sweet! An odd banana, yeast, tart fruit, light wood and maybe hints of caramel. Tastes like a tart banana liquor or maybe a "dirty banana" mixed drink. Body is light and bubbly with more sticky sweetness than dry, acidic tartness. Finish is more banana, light wood, some sugary notes and tart fruit. I wanted to hate this more than I actually did. It’s not that good and is not a "lambic" but it’s drinkable.

Holy crapola batman. More overly sweet and fake crap in a bottle that is an utter disgrace to the Lambic name.

Corked bottle: Clear amber. Small soda like head. Smells of over-ripe banana, and candy. Very artificial flavor, super cloying, not very enjoyable. One dimensional, and oh so sweet...Stick with real lambic like Cantillon...

Bottled. Pours cloudy yellow. BIG Banana aroma. Flavor is rock candi and banana. Super sweet.

Bottle, Passage Cafe, Brugge, Belgium. I like lambics, and I like curiosities like banana flavor. Why not? Smells and tastes like banana syrup. I like the tart stuff better. Still, not awful or anything. Kinda fun.

Bottle, at beer festival. Yellow with little head, aroma and flavor of fruit and banana. Nice.
