This corked and capped bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of frothy white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a hazy with fine particulate light orange brown colored body and a fair lacing. The complex aroma was malty banana fruity and funky. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The good syrupy flavor contained notes of sweet banana bubble gum and mildly lambic like. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Smelled fruit and sweet; made me think of a Jones soda. Looked like a tasty Belgian ale: caramel colored with a decent white foam. Felt like candy syrup in the mouth with a little carbonation. Tasted terrible. maybe this would be good if you really wanted a cold banana flavored drink, but as a beer, it was awful.

Bottle. A very small white head that mostly diminished, virtually no lacing, transparent, minimal carbonation, and a light gold hue. Nose was sweet, syrupy, banana, some sugar, and a whiff of hops. Flavor was sweet, artificial tasting, banana, syrupy, sticky, and dry. Mouthfeel was smooth, sticky, syrupy, and dry. Light body. Not one that I’ll want to have again.

Bottle at Eric and Maria’s. No head. Very strong scent of banana. Apple and banana taste. Not my thing, but appreciative.

Bottle. Clear yellow coloured with a white ehad. Aroma of bananas and fruits with notes of yeast. Flavour of bananas and fruits.

This beer is proof that maybe not all fruits need to made into a lambic. While it poured out rather thin and weak the aroma was very powerful. The aroma was probably the only thing I truly enjoyed about this beer. The flavor was like a liquid laffy taffy. Worth trying but not to ever be had again.

Bottle. Pours thin and unispired, with an aroma of candied banana. Very sweet mango/banana flavor. Very tropical. Mouthfeel is decent. If it wasn’t so sweet, this beer would be a lot better.

Lightly golden body under a low level head. Aroma of mustard and banana. Dried and ripe banana taste. Very sweet - in fact, too sweet (bottle sampled with Finn at The Fat Cat in Norwich 25.09.2006).
