translucent hay, thin lacing white ring. Huge fusel sweet nose, honey and sugar, light rind. Flavor is sloppy bottled faro, light sweetness from added sugar despite old earthy must, synthetic through the conflicted sticky but juicy end.

From a bottle shared at the DC Epic Sour Beer Tasting. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Flavors of banana bread. Sweet and cloying. Ugh.

I feel like Iím being quite brutal with this rating but this is the first time Iíve had beer Iím barely able to drink. Bottle - Slightly hazy pale golden with a thin white ring for a head. Aroma of rotten banana, bread and yeast. Taste is very sweet sugary start followed by some artificial banana flavour and then some more earthy, less artificial, but over ripe banana flavour. Kind of watery. Lemony, very sour. Thin body, low carbonation, slightly syrupy.. Sickeningly sweet, probably the sweetest beer and perhaps even one of the sweetest drinks ive ever had.

Poured a light yellow color with some coudyness, aromas of light funk and a touch of bananas. Flavors were wet wood, and some feint sour bananas, not my thing.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color. Aroma and taste are both sweet banana candy.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a bottle at Lexington Beerworks (KY)
Light amber, clear and high visible carbonation - like an Amer. lager.
Decent head and lacing.
Very floral and moderately fruity saison aroma with light farmhouse character, less banana than expected. Over-ripe banana.
Flavor: more banana. Also apple juice. Some tartness but still a bit sweeter than I would prefer.
Light body; medium plus carbonation. semi-dry finish.

You can hardly call this beer. Nice try, but itís very unnatural and onedimensional.

My wife absolutely loved this but i was underwhelmed. +++ Sampled from a 12.7 oz green bottle this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized soapy white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was faint dryish banana, nut and a hint of skunk. The flavor was tart, tangy and sour banana and a bit of vinegar. Medium length tart and tangy banana and vinegar. Ok.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle capped and corked from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours translucent gold with no head. Aroma is a sort of softly cooked banana. Like in a pie. Flavor is sweet, has that banana "string" flavor, and has a lurking tartness. This isnít really bad. Itís just too different to be really good. Certainly an interesting excursion.
