Bottle. Pours a clear golden beer with a weak white head. The aroma is banana and sweetness. The flavor is likewise banana with some acidity. The palate is fruit and fresh. Overall a beer below average.

Bought in Paris more out of idle curiousity than anything else. Looks okay, yellow colour, modest head. Aroma is distinctly fake banana, banana syrup, like I smelled as a kid when licking banana popsicles. The taste is a rough and foul mess of banana syrup, lambic sourness, dark wood. Really awful aftertaste. Not even refreshing like some of the artificial krieks and fruit beers. Not even anything. Just a bad idea! Should have never been marketed!

A: The pour is a hazy golden color with some floaters in it and a mild white head. S: The nose is of banana candy, but it’s not all that intense. I wish I had more to say, but that’s really all there is. T: This beer tastes like the banana flavored Runts candies. A weirdly sweet and intense banana flavor that I cannot quite decide if I like or note. Only a hint of sourness to this beer. M: The body is on the light side of medium with a moderate carbonation. D: Sort of a love hate relationship with this beer. I enjoyed the intense banana flavor, but it just seemed way too artificial at times.

Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is clear sweet banana. Flavour is light acidic and loads of banana.

I liked this one a lot. Rich golden beer with an almost nonexistent white head. Strong aromas of bananas and cotton candy. The taste was pure banana and a bit acidic. I like lambics and I really like bananas. Banana taffy indeed. Very tasty, very sweet.

Bottle. Pours yellow orange with a thin fizzy head. Fruity banana sweet aroma, almost like banana taffy. Similar flavor, sugary like a banana taffy. Well I like banana taffy, so I didn’t hate it.

A real mistake. Yellow (barely) with no head. Artificial banana aroma with acidic, lambic-like subtaste. Way too sweet, just out of balance all over. Never ending banana in the aftertaste as well. It was my first and last (quarter of a) bottle.

6/19/10. 12oz bottle. The aroma is almost a sour - vinegar, acidic, but with a sweet banana kick. The flavor is sour at first but fades heavily to very sweet ripe bananas, though it seems a bit artificial. Whoa buddy.
