Dec 17, 2006 Bottle. A very small white head that mostly diminished, virtually no lacing, transparent, minimal carbonation, and a light gold hue. Nose was sweet, syrupy, banana, some sugar, and a whiff of hops. Flavor was sweet, artificial tasting, banana, syrupy, sticky, and dry. Mouthfeel was smooth, sticky, syrupy, and dry. Light body. Not one that I’ll want to have again.

Feb 12, 2004 Banana wine. Very sweet with piles of banana. Not much fun. Still, hazy gold and syrupy. No Head. Some caramel and yeast. Interest sake only.

Jul 19, 2008 Bottle, 3.5%. Sour banana aroma. Almost clear colour, very small white head. The flavour is quite acidic, with some banana.

Aug 5, 2004 Updated: Aug 7, 2004slightly clear, yellowish color, with small specks but not cloudy. fluffy white head that left real quick - with zero lacing. yeasty/musty nose. light tangy fizz and watery mouthfeel, banana soda flavor. this is wierd stuff. I think this might actually be banana soda. but no, it can’t be, there’s a funky, moldy cork flavor. there. I can now say that I’ve had a freakin banana lambic.

Mar 19, 2009 Sampled at Zythos 2009. Pale gold, thick lasting beige head. Well it smells of bananas which is a start. Startlingly sweet. Not as bad as I thought. Some attempt at a bit of sourness.

Jan 31, 2007 Deep golden colour with a small white head. Malty, sweet aroma with notes of overripe banana and yeast. Banana sweet flavor with notes of yeast.
