375ml Bottle: Aroma of lambic, barnyard, and banana. Poured gold/amber in color with no head at all. Clear. Not sparkling. Some medium and large-sized particles throughout. Flavor is heavily sweet. Tastes of lambic and banana. Light to medium body. Slick, lightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. Lambic and banana finish is very sweet.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 SJP (483) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 27, 2006
Smelled fruit and sweet; made me think of a Jones soda. Looked like a tasty Belgian ale: caramel colored with a decent white foam. Felt like candy syrup in the mouth with a little carbonation. Tasted terrible. maybe this would be good if you really wanted a cold banana flavored drink, but as a beer, it was awful.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Lubiere (6988) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 6, 2007
A diffuse blonde with a white head. Aroma of banana bread and nail remover. In mout, a sweet aple and banana in mout, with very light acidity. Not bad, not good. LCBO offering.

UPDATED: MAR 9, 2006 I am not a huge fan of this style, but this is even bad for a lambic. Pours golden with a tiny white head, aroma of atrificial bananas, and sugar. Although it is smooth, it is way to sweet and unenjoyable, nothing good here.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 VeloVampire (616) - Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 7, 2007 25 cl bottle - pours clear pale golden with almost no head to speak of. Aroma has the familiar lambic sour note, but with a lot of banana as well, which is just strange - sour bananas? Weird. Not too appealing. Overly carbonated. Sweet, sweet in the mouth, with the main note being the yeast, but there is quite a bit of banana again, and a dry artificially sweet finish. Again, not too pleasant. Just an odd combination, lambic and banana - the flavours pull at each other and the result is one confused and not very appealing beer. About 20 cl too much.

Hello, sir. I may take a moment of time? This, my dear good friend, is beer from the Belgium homeland and it is just fantastic. Basement, ground-level opportunity this will be for you if you choose to invest! Admire the clear, yellow pour. And your nose, my friend, it beholds the wonders of the taffy Laffy in yellow wrapper! With taste as popular as your American "Arbor Mist", you surely will be able to make all the coin you desire! So, what say you, thirsty investor?

The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some banana notes but there is also some lactic tartness hidden in there. Definitely not as fruity smelling as I expected. The flavor is pretty sweet with a little bit of tartness and some syrupy banana notes. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Overall, this is not a good lambic. That being said, it isn’t offensive and I expected it to be worse.

Banana, citrus acidity, sourness and sugary sweetness in strange flavour.
Gets pretty sweet.

11-FEB-2011, bottle @home, with Ulkløbben, from "Fish & Beer".
Served blind with Chapeau Lemon and Mikkeller Spontankriek.
Very light in color with white head.
Unpleasant artificial banana taste like "Skumbanan".at the same time sickingly sweet.
Is there really a need for a beer like this?

Yuck, this beer is just too sweet. The banana flavor is even sweeter than that in banana chocolates or candy. Fairly full beer but quite bad. From Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht.
