12.7 oz. bottle from Mr. Liquor. Pours orange/yellow with minimal head. Strong aroma of banana, pineapple, apple, and pear. Flavors of the same. Very Very sweet.

The aroma is much more intense than the flavor. The lambic itself is hiding out in this one. Only slightly acidic as if the banana has smoothed everything out. The banana tastes a little artificial like banana candy (Runts, anyone?). I never thought banana would be a viable option to flavor a lambic, but I guess, when one considers the prevalence of the banana-like flavor of phenols in other brews, it shouldn’t be so surprising. Thanks to redlight for providing this off-kilter experience!

I liked this one a lot. Rich golden beer with an almost nonexistent white head. Strong aromas of bananas and cotton candy. The taste was pure banana and a bit acidic. I like lambics and I really like bananas. Banana taffy indeed. Very tasty, very sweet.

Bottle. very slight banana aroma. Taste like I thought, banana with some beer flavour. Appearance - very artificial yellow color. Sweet live finish. I am not fruit beer lover, but I love to experiment. Not so bad.

This has to be the strangest thing I have ever tasted. Little head, high carbonation as BOV said. Overall I liked it, and it was drinkable but I would not buy a 6 pack of them. Recommend that if you come across it to give it a shot, defiantely on the odd side.

Lots of banana aroma. Has th colour and a bit of the aroma of apple juice. Pretty much still wiht no effervescence. Flavour is sweet but not cloying, consistency is like a thicker syrupy apple juice but is a bit on the light side. Flavour reminds me a litle bit of banana freezie! Thanks to Joe S.

Bottle. Clear straw color with a ring of white soapy head at the edges. A banana aroma, but more like banana candy. Not sour by any stretch, but the taste is super-sweet and the banana flavor comes out more in the finish. A neat, different concoction, but don’t expect a traditional lambic.

Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours clear gold with tiny floaties and weak white head. The aroma is banana cream pie mixing with mild tartness in the background. The taste is pretty sweet with slick sugary malts followed quickly by sweet banana and faint tartness.

Sample from a bottle. Light thazy yellow color, minimal white head. Great, strong banana nose -- that can turn a lot of people off, but the beer is called "banana". It is what it is and you get what you came for. Very authentic-tasting. Light carbonation, long banana aftertaste. Sort of sweet taert finish. Not bad... But you better love banana. While interesting, more than my sample probably would have been too intense. A novelty to share.
