Bottle: my bottle said "Oude Gueuze" (under Lambic in the picture). Quick disappearing white head, leaves a hazy orange beer. Smell wood, lemon, orange, sour, hint of dust and yeast. Taste sour, wood, yeast, grain, citric, grass. Light and short aftertaste of sour, grass and dust. Medium body, low carbo and a tingly to sharp mouthfeel.

(bottle) pours a murky golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma has lots of lemons and spices, oranges, some light manure and bread dough. flavour is mild cheese and light vinegar, with lots of citrus fruits, not overly flavourful. watery body with soft carbonation.

Bottle, 375ml. From trade with jbrus. It’s an unclear, yellowish orange beer with a small, off-white head. Lemony, slighlty funky nose. Wheat too. Apples, lemon and funk in the mouth, finishing with citrus and apples. Tart, dry and lemony. A nice Chapeau, drinks easy and feels refreshing and quenching. 101015

375ml bottle from Otsuki. Crystal, lemony aroma. Light dusty horse blanket, quite light, some leather. Rather pale golden color, slightly cloudy, with orange tints and a thin lacy head. Strong lemony sourness sends stimulation right up the sinuses! Rather well lactic, with leather and a some dusty old book. A bit of dryness but nothing like the big boys. Some creamy sweetness to go with the lemon, but not much...nicely sour. Good, real gueuze, but not great. Somewhat lacking in complexity, though would be great on a hot summer day.
