Early amateur rating warning! Not a bad pineapple flavour but ruined by a lot of mustiness.

A: The pour is a clear golden color with a finger’s worth of white head.
S: The nose is intensely sweet pineapples. I was surprised by the level of pineapple aroma in this beer, but was hoping for a bit of tartness as well.
T: This beer essentially tastes like a pineapple flavored Lifesaver candy. Again, I wish it was more than just sweetness, but in a sick sense, I really like this.
M: The body is medium with the carbonation fitting the same description.
D: This is sort of a guilty pleasure type of beer. I liked this one, though I don’t know how much I could really drink at a time. Still, strangely enjoyable.

250mL Bottle from the LCBO. 3.5% Hazy golden pour with no head to speak of, looks like a cup of concentrated apple juice. Aroma is pineapple and aspartame. Taste is exactly that. Has a medicine-y quality to it. Yech.

It smells like a sour at first, and then the signature unripe fruit smell of DeTroch fruit brews. The color is straw yellow with a very small head. The flavor, which is completely different than the nose is a very sugary sweet exotic tropical flavor, hence the pineapple. Typical beer that the normal beer geek would hate but I would love.

Bottle @ The House of Beer, Orlando... Poured golden/orange with a white head. Aroma was fruity with even some yeast funk. Tasted of sugary syrup, sweet tarts with a lots of fruit and pineapple. Palate was fairly thick, it would be better if it was drier and more vinegary. LIttle bit of horse blanket funk too. Honestly, this beer was decent, don’t see what the ratings were so low here.

Bottle. Pours amber/orange no head some bubbles. Aroma of fruit, sugar, cork. Taste of carbonated pineapple, vanilla, oily fizzy texture. Fruity and tasty not the best example of a Lambic, as it reminds me more of just straight pineapple juice from Dole, but enjoyable.

25 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Very pale slightly rose hued colour, gingerbread aroma with a very sweet flavour and an almost syrup like quality. Astringent at the back of the throat.

Bottle. Pours golden yellow with a thin white head. Sweet pineappley aroma with a light funkyness. The flavor is like sweet pineapple candy. Decent.
