Amber yellow coloured beer with some very light carbonation and a small white head. Very strange sweet fruity aroma with some pine-apple touches. Strange medium -bodied palate. Finish is fruity, pine-apple, with some sweet touches, Very strange combination, doesn’t fit.

25cl, BB 01/07/2012.

Aroma of sticky sweet and artificial pineapple and wet wood. Flavor is the same. Sweet and just not right. Thanks to storminorman. Or no thanks?

Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 15, 2012
Originally rated June 2005. Best before date: 25/03/07. Golden-amber colour with slight haze. Not much of a head, no lacing. The aroma is heavy with pineapple, mixed in with sour vinegar in the background. The taste starts off very sweet, turns sour in the middle and then balances out both flavours. The pineapple juice they use in this one is what stays in the aftertaste. Tarty mouthfeel. More like juice then a lambic, but still a decent brew.

Hazy orange coloured beer with small white head and only very few carbonation. Full fruity (pineaple) aroma. Medium sparkling palate. Finish is fruity sweet ending full fruity. Too sweet.

Bottle @ home, shared with my girlfriend. Clear yellow to orange color. Smell is undescribable! A mix of something fruity with something weird and horrible! Can’t bear to smell it again. Taste is slightly less bad. A lot of fruit, sweetness and just a bad mix. Low carbo, low body.

Yellow with a hint of orange. Thin head. Sweet pineapple scent is overpowering. Slight locker room funk smell. Way too sweet with a nasty aftertaste. Yellow lifesavers in a bitter liquid form. I would rather be drinking a Steelback Tango (currently worst rated beer on site at time I took these notes). The worst beer I have ever had.

bottle from liquor express - Aroma smells like caramelized pineapple and some woody vanilla notes. Odd. Pours clear orange-gold with no head. Taste is sweet, like condensed fruit cocktail, without the sourness you would expect in a lambic. Palate is a little syrupy and lingering. Overall, I bought this because it was on sale and for the novelty factor of a pineapple lambic. The base lambic is almost entirely overpowered by the pineapple, which is disappointing. I think they have lost the plot with this one.

Poured hazy yellowish color into glass with fast diminishing white head. Smelled of pineapple and wood. Tasted sweet pineapple up front, followed by sourish lambic. Light body with little carbonation.
