Nice, a little sour like the oens I like, but somewhat cheesy in tatse. I mean, like a pinapple and cheese cake.

Bottle @ The House of Beer, Orlando... Poured golden/orange with a white head. Aroma was fruity with even some yeast funk. Tasted of sugary syrup, sweet tarts with a lots of fruit and pineapple. Palate was fairly thick, it would be better if it was drier and more vinegary. LIttle bit of horse blanket funk too. Honestly, this beer was decent, don’t see what the ratings were so low here.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2007 This beer had a light golden color with a lot of sediment. It had nice foam with a moderate amount of carbonation. Sweet pineapple and coconut dominated the aroma and flavor.

Bottle at Toncatchers. Thanks to Wetherel. Pours yellow with a big white head. The aroma was of funky pineapple. The taste was sort of like a sweet pina colada with loads of funky pineapple. The finish was long and sweet with tropical fruit flavors. Overall: Not like any beer I have ever tried before, but not that bad either. Very Original.

Toncatchers 2. Nose was sharp fruit and yeast. Pineapple. Pale light yellow with chunkies suspended. Light white head. "I’m drinking pineapple juice." Made my eyes squint.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Metalchopz (1427) - Quebec, CANADA - FEB 15, 2012
Originally rated June 2005. Best before date: 25/03/07. Golden-amber colour with slight haze. Not much of a head, no lacing. The aroma is heavy with pineapple, mixed in with sour vinegar in the background. The taste starts off very sweet, turns sour in the middle and then balances out both flavours. The pineapple juice they use in this one is what stays in the aftertaste. Tarty mouthfeel. More like juice then a lambic, but still a decent brew.

Nose contains banana, peach, lemon. Nice appearace: golden with a white head sprinkeld with particles of banana. Suprinsingly not to sweet banana taste. Fizzy refreshing beer with a long lasting aftertaste. Nice but a little bit weak, could be more hops in it.

12.7oz bottle, best by May ’97. I was really afraid to try this beer, but was pleasantly surprised. Ugly looking beer with a clear yellow color and no head.
Sweet aroma of pineapple, caramel and coconut, reminds me of one of those tropical fruit Life Savers. Sweet flavor of caramel, pineapple, coconut and vanilla. Almost like a pina colada. Given the age of this bottle, it has held up very well. A little more carbonation would have helped to cut the sweetness.

Sampled at the Yeha, best before 1997. Poured a cloudy pale golden with a white head. Sweet candy pineapple aroma. Taste is one-dimensional sweet pinapple, like the syrup from canned pineapple. I don’t mind sweet so I didn’t really mind this that much. Perhaps it would be better if the beer were labeled as a fruit beer rather than a lambic.

Bottle. Pours amber/orange no head some bubbles. Aroma of fruit, sugar, cork. Taste of carbonated pineapple, vanilla, oily fizzy texture. Fruity and tasty not the best example of a Lambic, as it reminds me more of just straight pineapple juice from Dole, but enjoyable.
