Bottle provided by John (wetherel) partially for the express purpose of me rating more sours. Thanks buddy! Pours yellowy with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet coconutty and a bit yucky. Taste is sweet, gnarly but basically like a pina colada and getting lost in this beer.

Bottle at toncatcher’s 2. Woohoo. Another lambic rating. Others liked it. I think the aroma is bad, though kind of like a pineapple. Taste is sweet and delicious, just difficult to smell. Like a skunk.

Bottle. Aroma little but sugary and medicinal with a little bit of, um, asphalt or something? Also though, after looking at Nekronos’ rating, I do see that pineapple cheesecake edge to things. Flavor becomes increasingly sweet and syrupy without really much pineapple at all, sort of too sweet to be pineapple. Unlike many, I have enjoyed the other Chapeaus I’ve consumed, but this one was not good...though apparently I still enjoyed it a lot more than most!

Clear golden pouur with a bubbly head that goes away quickly. Pineapple and apple and maybe some coconut on the nose. Similar in taste with a nice tartness to it.

Bottle. This is transparent golden in colour with a half inch, fading white head. The aroma is full of coconut with alcohol. Smells like pina colada. There’s more fruit in there too: soft (baked?) banana, pineapple (like on the label) , baking sugars. Mouthfeel is medium with a bit of syrupy-ness, but not unpleasant. The flavour is sour with more light coconut and plenty of pineapple.

Apple and mixed fruit aromas, golden amber, with a tiny white head. Malty, fruit flavoured, some apple with a hint of apricot too. Sweet and dry. Interesting. A special Thank You to Joe Sacco.

Bottle. Medium golden color with a white head. Aroma has mint and something odd. Soft pineapple flavors. The flavor isn’t bad but everything else is suspect.

Pineapple and passion fruit dominate the aroma. Orange with sediment. Sweet, light pineapple and other fruit flavors. Light; good for sipping. I know this isn’t the way lambic should be, but I like it anyway.

Bottle poured into flute- poured transparent golden yellow, heavy carbonation, very thin whilte bubbly head. Aroma of pineapple and yeast. Hits the mouth with a thin body, pineapple is present, moderatlely heavy sour notes present, finish collapes. I like it, don’t ask me why the beerpagners don’t.
