I quess I’m a sucker for the sweet beers
This poured a clear copper with a nice creamy white head.Smells of vinegar like sourness mixed with apricots.Taste is sweet and sour similar to homebrewed hard cider with oak and caramel highlights. You have a tartness from the lambic but the addition of the sugar just rounds this beer into a very drinkable dessert.Try it as a intermezzo at your next beer tasting
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 macguy (146) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 22, 2007
A bit sweeter than what I like. The sweetness has hints of apple and cherry, but in general covers up much of anything else. The nose is faint but has the eau-de-barnyard that I love. Thanks to Wil for picking this up for me at World-o-beer.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 zeek (134) - British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 11, 2010
Pours a beautiful, clear, light reddish with little head and carbonation. Aroma is hard to describe, almost like the beer is slightly off/past its due date.
Taste starts off very sweet at the front of the mouth, and stays there. I can’t really detect any malty or hoppy taste, it almost seems like fruit. Hmmm.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 stic (109) - Oostende, BELGIUM - SEP 22, 2002
One of my first faro’s. Very sweet, a little sour, a little watery.

Many thanks to JK for sharing! The beer had a weak brown color with a fair amount of sediment. Sweet fruit and alcohol were present in the aroma. Nice sweet/sour flavor with a nice sweet fruit finish.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 kapusta (86) - Dover, Delaware, USA - FEB 12, 2008
Nice brwon tea color with a frothy head. Overly sweet in taste, but also with a sour iron-like tinge. Not my choice, but I wanted to try a Faro, so I can noy say I did.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 JefVerstraete (69) - BELGIUM - APR 9, 2012
Wow, this beer is too sweet. A little bit sourness of the lambic, but it disappears in the overwhelming sweetness of sugars and sweeteners. Very bad faro!
2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 sweetgoodness (19) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - OCT 31, 2006
C.T. 3.0- well, it looked okay. And then I smelled it; apple cider, pickles and feet. Tasted about the same but had a lot of sweetness up front that quickly became sour. Glad I got to try it once, but never again.
