Bottle: Poured a ruby red color with light white head. Nose is very strawberry, aroma was noticed right after i poured it. Sweet strawberry with a bit of tartness at the finish and dry.

Bottle from Specs; Kehma, TX; Nose of tartness and strawberries; hazy rose colored with a small pinkish head; flavor had the more tartness than any of the other 6 Chapeau lambics I’ve had including the Faro.Tastes like tart strawberries with the tartness lasting to a mellow finish.

This $5.79 bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a very large sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a semi-opaque dark brown colored body. The aroma was lambic like strawberry and medium dry. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow sour aftertaste. The semi=thick flavor contained notes of strawberry malt and dry. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.

Pours red with a noticably pronounced pink head into the Belle Vue glass I sampled this in. Smells of strawberry puree, some tarte hints and lambicy elements that were there but definitely not pronounced. Tastes of strawberries with an underlying sourness and some dry tarte lambicy qualities. More interesting than I thought it would be. Thanks to dragonstout for this sample.

(Bottled) Muddy red-brown with a very small, fading head. Mild, sweetish aroma of fermented strawberries and some raspberry hints. Very lemonade-like flavor of sweet strawberries, acidity, and loads of sugar. Light to medium-bodied with very sticky-sugary, flat-carbonated palate. This would probably sink well for anyone, who’s into sweet strawberry or raspberry lemonades. As a beer, it’s worthless at most. Somehow natural flavors, though.

Bottle. Pours like a puddle of dirt parking lot water with a faintly red head. Aroma is stale cork and strawberry candy. Flavor is sweet, candied strawberry vinegar with a slightly barnyard-like finish. Palate is the usual watery blah. Not very good.

Hazy mikly touch orange pink coloured beer. Light carbonation and a small white-pink head. Sweet fruity aroma, clear strawberry aroma, beer aroma’s are missing. Medium to full palate. Sweet sour strawberry flavour. Finish is little bitter, sweet, little artificial, but not bad.

Bottle from Party Town, KY. Poured reddish color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet strawberry aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium sweet strawberry flavor with a medium sour and sweet finish of moderate duration. Sweet brew.
