Light red color, no head. Smells like strawberry pudding. Taste strawberry and sourness. Sticky mouthfeel, low body, low carbo.

Sampled at Texas Beerfest. Pours a cloudy amber with a small quickly diminishing head. The aroma is a strong strawberry and tart. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet fruit with a nice crisp finish. Very good lambic.

Bei diesem Bier gibt es nicht viel zu beschreiben, es ist flüssige Erdbeermarlmelade. Das und nichts weiter. Test vom 13.8.2006, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 9,8,8,9,8,9 - 8,65

Ziemlich buntes Flaschenetikett, das aber ganz nett wirkt. Das Bier selbst ist rötlich-dunkel etwas eingetrübt. Geruch erdbeerig - säuerlich. Geschmacklich startet das Fraises weich, erdbeerig-süß. Eine dezente Lambic-Note hält die Süße allerdings gut in Schach. Im Abgang schlägt das Bier dann etwas kräftiger (trocken) durch. Überraschend ok für mich. Test vom 20.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Muddy reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, sour and strawberry. Flavor is very sweet and light acidic. Quite sweet and light acidic finish. Much too sweet and sticky. Unbalanced. 010411

Marci saw this one on sale and had to get it. Single 12oz bottle. Cloudy copper/brown, quite like fresh apple cider both in color, coldness, and aroma, of course with more berry on the nose. First taste is very earthy and musty, then immediately turns tart and sour which continues well into the finish. Ends sweet. Unique, complex. Can only have one given the richness and sweet/sour extremes. Needs to be paired with a Brie to balance it a bit.

Bottle @ ’tBrugs Beertje. Sour strawberry aroma. Cloudy pinkish brown colour with a good head. Sweet strawberry flavour. Quite sharp with sweet aftertaste. I like it.
