Bottle. Unclear medium red - grey color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, light light rosa off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy strawberry, sour strawberry, (jordbærgrød). Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration. Body is light to light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (170208)

A red, very bubbly, slightly unclear beer with a very small and very fast disappearing head. The aroma is fruity with strawberry notes - and a faint lambic sharpness. A very nice aroma - but for a lambic - not enough lambic aroma. The flavor is soft at first, then dominated by strawberry and finally getting somewhat lambic sharp - but the sharpness is too weak and dies away way too quickly. OK taste - but nothing exceptional. All in all an average beer.

(Bottle 25 cl) Reddish brown, off white head and a slight haze. Strawberry flavour is very strong but appears authentic. Sweet yes, but not stickingly so. Not a bad choice for a fruit beer. 030998

UPDATED: MAY 27, 2008 25 cL bottle. Pours hazy red/brown with a diminishing pink head. Fruity strawberry aroma. Quite citric straberry flavoured with mild underlying sweetness lingering into the finish. Starts citric and turns slowly sweet with strawberry flavour on top. Mild lambic woody and sulphorish flavour too.

Bottled. Cloudy brownish amber. Aroma and flavour is nothing but artificial strawberry jam. The mouthfeel is, of course, sticky sweet.

UPDATED: OCT 5, 2007 Bottled. Hazy rubyish brown colour with mediumsized head. Aroma is cherries and some slight wooden hints along with malts. Flavour is bigtime leathery, lots of cherries and overall very sweet.

Bottle, 3.5%. Cloudy dark red brown colour. Good strawberry flavour, sweet and citric. Like many other fruit beers, but more citric.
